Senior Power BI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Power BI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC or Minneapolis MN. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant to support enterprise analytics reporting process intelligence and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) initiatives. This contractor will play a critical role in designing scalable data pipelines developing executive dashboards and implementing KPI frameworks. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Power BI Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data engineering business intelligence and statistical analytics to deliver solutions that improve transparency and operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards scorecards and reporting solutions
• Build executive operational and strategic reporting that enables data-driven decision making
• Develop complex data models semantic layers KPIs calculations and DAX measures
• Design build and optimize data ingestion pipelines into Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from enterprise applications APIs operational systems and third-party sources
• Work with BigQuery and cloud-native services to support scalable analytics solutions
• Partner with business teams to define document and operationalize KPI frameworks
• Develop and maintain Statistical Process Control reporting for Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) and operational process management programs
• Perform trend analysis forecasting statistical analysis and operational assessments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog grooming and delivery reviews

Requirements:

• 5 years of Systems Architecture experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience training military experience education
• 5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions
• 3 years of experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop Power BI Service DAX Power Query (M) SQL Data Modeling BigQuery ETL/ELT Development and Data Integration and Transformation
• Experience building executive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and business intelligence best practices
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and enterprise environments
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience supporting Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) AI Operations Process Intelligence Automation or Digital Transformation programs
• Experience implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement frameworks
• Experience developing KPI scorecards and operational health dashboards
• Proficiency with Python APIs Git-based source control Agile/Scrum methodologies Data Governance and Metadata Management
• Experience with process mining observability automation or workflow analytics platforms
• Financial services or highly regulated industry experience preferred

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
