Senior Platform AI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to help establish and operate the technology foundation for enterprise artificial intelligence and intelligent automation.

This position is responsible for turning emerging AI capabilities into dependable business solutions. You will build AI-powered applications and agents connect them to enterprise data and systems establish the infrastructure and controls required for production use and continuously improve their reliability and effectiveness.

The role combinessoftware engineering AI application development cloud engineering integration automation and production operations. You will work closely with business leaders technology professionals and external technology partners to identify opportunities develop solutions and move successful concepts into sustainable production environments.

This is a hands-on engineering position with significant technical ownership. It is not primarily focused on business intelligence reporting data analysis or requirements documentation.

The preferred location for this position isCharlotte North Carolina with a hybrid schedule based from the organizations headquarters.

Remote candidates located within theEastern or Central time zonesmay also be considered. Remote employees should be able to maintain effective collaboration with distributed teams and travel to the Charlotte headquarters when business needs require.

• Architect and develop intelligent agents and AI-powered applications that solve practical enterprise problems.

• Take AI solutions through the complete development lifecycle from experimentation and prototyping through testing deployment monitoring and ongoing enhancement.

• Design how agents retrieve information assemble context select and invoke tools coordinate multi-step tasks and transition work to people when human intervention is necessary.
