Job Summary

Senior Oracle Database Developer Key Responsibilities

Design create and maintain Oracle database systems ensuring stability reliability and performance.
Develop test and maintain Oracle database objects including tables views stored procedures functions triggers and packages.
Refactor and optimize existing database objects to support system enhancements and performance improvements.
Perform database performance tuning troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Create and maintain technical documentation SOPs and database-related specifications.
Collaborate with database teams frontend developers and support teams to resolve technical issues.
Support critical production issues and provide timely resolutions when required.
Maintain source control and version management for database programming artifacts.
Continuously learn and implement new database technologies and programming techniques.
Participate in database transformation and modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle relational database modeling and development.
Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL development and database performance tuning.
Experience with database version control tools such as VSS or equivalent.
Proven experience supporting complex enterprise database applications.
Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.

Preferred Skills

Oracle database optimization and performance engineering.
Experience with database migration and transformation projects.
Knowledge of source control and release management practices.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting business-critical production systems.
