Role and Responsibilities:
Senior Network Operations Engineer
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide positive customer engagement by delivering a high level of support and timely response to customer inquiries.
- Resolve customers IT issues and address a wide range of issues with hosted servers as well as clients networks servers and PCs.
- Support business-critical areas of Aktions data center customer deliverables ranging from basic user computing questions to advanced virtualization and storage.
- Tracking and resolving every customer request.
- Proven ability to solve IT issues.
- Serve as an advisor and mentor to other NOC staff for the for the resolution of more complex technical issues.
Education Experience and Skills:
- 3-5 years of IT Help desk support MSP or general IT experience desired
- 0-2 years of experience with Bachelors or Associates degree or equivalent industry experience and certification
- Understanding of network and endpoint topology
- Customer service oriented and the ability to problem solve are competencies required for this role
- Desiredknowledge of/skilled in: Microsoft Desktop and Server Active Directory Virtualization Basics and Security Practices
- Other skills such asSAGE 300 & 100 LinuxSAN Storage Mobile deployments FACTS and Disaster Recovery would-be a plus but not required.
