Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design deploy configure and maintain enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure across corporate campus and remote environments.
• Manage wireless incidents and service requests through ticketing systems ensuring timely troubleshooting escalation resolution and accurate documentation in accordance with operational SLAs.
• Monitor wireless infrastructure and proactively identify outages degradation capacity constraints and recurring performance issues using network monitoring and management platforms.
• Perform wireless site surveys RF analysis spectrum analysis and heat-map assessments to optimize coverage and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex Wi-Fi connectivity authentication roaming interference latency and performance issues across multiple device types.
• Configure and manage enterprise wireless controllers access points SSIDs RF profiles and security policies.
• Analyze wireless traffic logs packet captures and performance metrics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Implement and maintain wireless security standards including WPA2/WPA3 802.1X RADIUS certificate-based authentication and network segmentation.
• Collaborate with network security systems and infrastructure teams to support wireless integrations network upgrades and technology deployments.
• Develop and maintain wireless network documentation diagrams configuration standards operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in wireless infrastructure upgrades capacity planning lifecycle management and evaluation of emerging Wi-Fi technologies and solutions.

Skills & Requirements
Required H.S. Diploma or GED
Required 7 years experience in information systems
Bachelors degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience. Masters degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience.
Current vendor/industry certifications are a plus.
