Senior Mechanical Engineer W2 Hiring

Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Beverly MA (Onsite) Start Date: Immediate Interview Mode: Phone/Video

Minimum Requirements:

• 45 years of experience in the semiconductor domain.

• BSME (Mechanical Engineering) minimum; MS preferred.

• At least 1 year of CAD experience with Creo.

• Experience with PLM systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design for ion implanter subsystems (process chambers beamline structures wafer handling vacuum chambers).

• Conduct design reviews apply DfX principles GD&T and tolerance stackup analysis.

• Perform hand calculations and FEA (CREO Simulate ANSYS) for structural integrity and reliability.

• Execute detailed CAD work engineering drawings and BOM management (Creo AutoCAD Windchill Glovia).

• Develop precision motion mechanisms and complex electromechanical assemblies.

• Perform FEA/CFD (thermal structural modal) and validate designs via prototyping.

• Drive manufacturability improvements reliability growth and cost reduction.

• Define test requirements coordinate execution and document engineering test plans.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (systems electrical controls physics manufacturing field service).

• Ensure compliance with SEMI S2/S8 and internal safety standards.

Preferred Experience:

• End station and wafer handling systems.

• Semiconductor equipment design and vacuum system expertise.

• Reverse engineering and precision motion systems.
