The Role:
As a Senior Research Manager you will be at the heart of the commercial real estate industry facilitating market-critical information that enables our clients to make informed high impact business decisions. CoStar Groups research contributes to the most important segment of our economy helping businesses open offices stores and warehouses and manufacturing facilities. 24 million people visit CoStars websites each month to aid in those decisions. Every day our research helps our clients make informed investment decisions. Because of the impact our Researcher has on the economy CoStar Groups salaries and benefits lead the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 15 20 Portfolio Research Associates dedicated to growing CoStars database through vetting new contacts and converting field research leads to new listings
• Effectively identify and manage performance opportunities in the absence of a formal scorecard
• Work closely with field research leadership to ensure the accuracy of incoming field leads
• Engage regularly with the inside sales team to best understand the potential client hand over from vetting new clients
• Present leads team processes and workflow to incoming field research and architectural photography training classes
• Management of a Research Manager who is directly responsible for a team of Research Associates.
• Conduct regular call evaluations training and mentoring sessions with your team. Coaching and guiding your team to produce meaningful telephone interactions consisting of effective questioning listening probing and sharing of information.
• Coach mentor and develop team members through individual development plans tailored to skills competency and career development that results in a center of excellence.
• Investigate information resources of the assigned market/region to ensure all possible data sources are researched; information is captured inputted and published in a timely manner and to the highest quality standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited not-for-profit University or College

• Track recordof commitment to prior employers

• Proven leadership ability and experience of leading a team of 8 plus individuals.
• Experience leading a team within a metric driven environment.
• Demonstrated success of building strong cohesive teams by leading and motivating towards action/execution through influence and collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail objectivity and the ability to think strategically.

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.

Base Compensation: $115000 Annually
