This is a 2nd shift position with a schedule of 3:30pm to 12:00am.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot testing activity discrepancies.
- Work with Assembly Engineering and R&D groups as required toresolve diverse & complex issues found during Test.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Assembly TestTechnicians to resolve and close issues.
- Manage all manufacturing test data associated withAcceptance testing (ETL & ATL).
- Compile statistical reports for each systemduring Final Test.
- Analyze discrepancy data for each system in orderto provide corrective action.
- Identify and provide improvements of test methods forexisting products and collaborate with Engineering to developmethodologies for new products/components.
- Perform disposition of non-conforming product as discovered in quality audits.
Qualifications:
Must have at least a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting complex systems. An associates degree technical engineering or technical field service background is preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This includes the ability to multitask and prioritize critical projects.
- Possess a practical mindset with a strong ability to read and interpret highly technical documents (e.g. schematics mechanical drawings and assembly drawings bills of material maintenance and safety instructions/procedures) provided in verbal written or pictorial form.
- Must possess a positive attitude and excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with clarity and interface effectively with customer management and peers.
- Skills in identifying/resolving recurringproblemsand submitting corrective action plans.
- Possesses interpersonal skills to interface with assemblytechnicians engineering and operations management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and driving tasks to completion.
- Willingness to work overtime holidaysand weekends as required to meet company revenue requirements.
- Requires frequent changes in positions while working including frequent standing sitting and bending throughout the shift.
- Occasionally ascend/descend a ladderand lift/move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend plumb and integrate all tubing connections (stainless steel Swagelok and Flare Tek TFE fittings) according to a plumbing schematics.
