The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition - Clinical Lab & Divisional Support Functions youll have the opportunity to lead a team of talent acquisition professionals supporting the Abbott Cancer Diagnostics division. This role is responsible for delivering positive talent outcomes building strong partnerships and serving as a strategic talent advisor to internal stakeholders. The leader will leverage data and recruiting metrics to strengthen talent acquisition strategies drive continuous improvement and enhance team performance while supporting Clinical Laboratory Operations and Division Functions.
Abbotts Cancer Diagnostics business was established through the acquisition of Exact Sciences bringing Exact Sciences full cancer screening and diagnostics portfolio including Cologuard Oncotype DX Cancerguard and Oncodetect into Abbott. Together were advancing the early detection of cancer and the precision oncology tools that guide personalized treatment decisions helping patients and providers act on cancer earlier and more precisely. Our combined portfolio and global reach allow us to bring life-changing diagnostic technology to more patients providers and health systems worldwide.
This position works onsite at our Madison WI location.
What Youll Work On
Lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition (TA) professionals across a matrixed environment; supporting the Cancer Diagnostic organization.
Partner closely with senior stakeholders (Director through DVP level) to understand business needs and deliver high-impact hiring strategies and outcomes.
Drive full-cycle recruitment for leadership and hard-to-fill roles ensuring high-quality hires and exceptional candidate experiences.
Design and execute best-in-class recruitment and selection practices including innovative sourcing strategies direct sourcing pipelines employer branding campaigns and cost-effective recruiting channels.
Leverage data metrics and market insights to inform strategy improve team performance and influence stakeholders.
Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives including workforce expansion efforts cross-functional projects and global programs.
Build and manage external partnerships with academic institutions diversity organizations and early career to support talent pipelines.
Foster a high-performance inclusive team culture through coaching development and effective people leadership
Drive change management initiatives and continuously improve TA capabilities across processes technology and ways of working.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree
8 years of Talent Acquisition experience including at least 3 years in an in-house environment
2 years of people leadership experience
Proven experience leading full-cycle recruitment across functions such as commercial manufacturing scientific and corporate roles
Demonstrated success hiring for senior-level roles
Strong leadership experience managing both individual contributors and managers in a global or matrix environment
Expertise in stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leaders using data market insights and talent expertise
Experience developing and executing direct sourcing strategies and talent marketing campaigns
Strong analytical and data storytelling skills with the ability to use metrics to drive decisions and performance
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities solve complex problems and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consumer products manufacturing or adjacent industries
Experience leading multi-country or cross-divisional talent acquisition projects
Advanced proficiency in data analysis reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong background in change management and organizational transformation initiatives
Demonstrated experience in developing high-performing teams
Financial acumen and understanding of the business impact of talent decisions
Experience building partnerships with universities trade schools and diversity-focused organizations
The base pay for this position is
$129300.00 $258700.00In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
