The Senior Manager Aftermarket Marketing & Communications leads the development and execution of integrated marketing communications and engagement strategies that support Copelands Aftermarket portfolio across the Americas and Controls Solutions businesses including compressors thermostats controls monitoring solutions and other HVACR system components. Reporting to the Director Marketing & Communications Americas this role partners closely with sales product management communications digital and regional marketing teams to drive growth strengthen customer relationships and ensure marketing investments align with business priorities.

As a Senior Manager Aftermarket Marketing & Communications You Will:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute aftermarket marketing and communications strategies aligned to business objectives.

  • Lead annual planning prioritization KPI development and roadmap execution.

  • Align marketing initiatives across regions teams and business priorities.

  • Provide strategic mentorship and support for aftermarket initiatives across the U.S. Canada and Latin America.

  • Travel 20% based on business and event needs.

Marketing Operations

  • Improve marketing processes visibility and execution effectiveness.

  • Lead KPI tracking reporting and business performance reviews.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment among sales product management communications and marketing teams.

Communications & Industry Relations

  • Lead aftermarket public relations trade media and industry communications efforts.

  • Coordinate press releases media opportunities and executive communications support.

  • Manage relationships with key industry organizations including ACCA HARDI and other trade associations.

  • Support sponsorships industry engagement and thought leadership activities.

Events & Programs

  • Establish strategy for major aftermarket events tradeshows and customer engagements.

  • Lead planning and execution of events including AHR ACCA HARDI and other strategic programs while providing strategic oversight and guidance for regional and lower-tier event initiatives.

  • Ensure consistent messaging branding and customer experiences across events.

  • Lead cross-functional aftermarket marketing programs and performance measurement.

Channel & Digital Enablement

  • Lead wholesaler rebranding branch merchandising digital rebranding and engagement and channel engagement initiatives.

  • Drive digital enablement efforts including PIM DAM and content accessibility improvements.

  • Oversee aftermarket website content and digital marketing support for and distributor websites.

  • Partner with digital teams to improve distributor and customer experience.

Training & Education

  • Support training initiatives that increase customer contractor wholesaler and technician knowledge of Copeland aftermarket solutions.

  • Ensure consistency of messaging product positioning and technical guidance across marketing training and educational content.

  • Measure training engagement and effectiveness leveraging insights to improve customer adoption and commercial outcomes.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Aftermarket Marketing & Communications team including direct management of three marketing professionals across enterprise/channel marketing territory marketing and training & education.

  • Provide coaching performance management career development and succession planning to build organizational capabilities and strengthen the marketing talent pipeline.

  • Establish clear goals priorities and accountability measures that align team activities with Aftermarket business objectives revenue growth customer engagement and strategic initiatives.

  • Mentor regional marketing teams and provide strategic guidance.

  • Foster collaboration across marketing communications sales training digital and product management.

  • Support budget planning agency management and strategic initiatives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or related field.

  • 8 years of marketing communications channel marketing or commercial experience.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional marketing programs and strategic initiatives.

  • Strong communication project management and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Experience in B2B industrial manufacturing or HVACR markets preferred.

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.

Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney who all support a multitude of business functions.
