EMCOR Group Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Business Development who would support the companys acquisition strategy through identification evaluation and execution of acquisition opportunities. This individual will screen potential targets develop detailed valuation models support deal structuring and negotiations and coordinate diligence efforts across staff functions. The role requires strong analytical skills sound financial and operational judgment clear and concise communication and the ability to manage complex transactions across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced high-volume deal environment.
Identify research and evaluate potential acquisition targets in accordance with EMCORs strategic priorities
Apply structured screening criteria to evaluate strategic fit within EMCORs operating landscape
Analyze target financial performance quality of earnings construction-specific performance indicators risk areas and key value drivers to determine quality of acquisition opportunity
Build and maintain detailed financial models valuations and scenario analyses to inform capital allocation and support investment decisions
Assist in negotiating key commercial and financial terms with acquisition target ownership
Coordinate acquisition process across accounting/finance legal HR IT operations risk safety and tax departments
Identify risks synergies and integration considerations during the due diligence process and develop integration plans with relevant operational or functional leadership
Monitor industry trends comparable transactions and competitive dynamics to inform M&A strategy
Prepare presentations and materials for executive leadership and Board-level discussions
Assist with special projects and reports as needed
Travel: approximately 20%
BS / BA required degree in accounting finance or similar field preferred. MBA preferred.
Five years of relevant experience in consulting investment banking corporate development or similar.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage large projects involving multiple staff functions.

Compensation Range: $153000 - $163000
Other Compensation: This position is bonus eligible.
