Senior Manager, Advertising Communications

The Comms Team is responsible for telling Snaps story to the audiences that matter most including Snapchatters advertising partners content partners investors policymakers and Snap team members. We work across the company to develop compelling narratives build trust create attention around our products and business and help people understand what makes Snap and Snapchat distinctive.

Were looking for a Senior Manager Advertising Communications to lead communications for Snaps advertising business.

What youll do:

• Lead communications strategy for Snaps advertising business helping tell a clear and compelling story about our ad platform audience innovation and value to advertisers.
• Partner closely with Snaps senior advertising leaders on media strategy executive communications thought leadership and major industry moments.
• Develop and execute communications around advertising products partnerships research customer success stories and our growing small and medium-sized business.
• Build strong relationships with advertising business and technology media and identify creative opportunities to shape the conversation around Snap and the broader advertising industry.
• Work across Sales Marketing Product Research Investor Relations Legal and Comms to align priorities and bring major campaigns to life.
• Manage and develop team members and agency partners while remaining hands-on with strategy and execution.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Deep communications experience and strong knowledge of the advertising marketing technology and media industries.
• Strong media relationships and excellent instincts for what makes a compelling business or advertising story.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience advising and preparing senior executives.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional work make decisions and keep multiple priorities moving in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people leadership skills and a hands-on collaborative working style.
• Creative curious resourceful and committed to Snaps values of kind smart and creative.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 10 years of experience in communications or public relations.
• Experience managing people and leading complex communications programs.

Compensation

In the United States work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
