Senior Maintenance Technician Night Shift
Starting Pay: $30.00/hour Night Shift Premium Pay Based on Experience
Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Location: Owatonna MN
Viracon is continuously hiring experienced Senior Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team in Owatonna MN.

What Youll Do
Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
Perform electrical mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and other maintenance repairs
Diagnose equipment issues and identify the root cause of problems
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
Read and interpret electrical schematics mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
Use hand tools power tools testing equipment and diagnostic equipment
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
Install modify and maintain machinery and equipment
Assist with equipment improvements and maintenance projects
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to the team
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Work independently while also supporting the maintenance team and production operations
What Were Looking For
We are looking for experienced maintenance professionals who are:
Experienced in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
Strong troubleshooters who can diagnose and repair equipment issues
Experienced with electrical and mechanical systems
Comfortable working independently and making maintenance decisions
Able to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Dependable and safety focused
Willing to work a 12 hour overnight shift
Qualifications
Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems preferred
Experience with PLCs hydraulics pneumatics conveyors motors and other industrial equipment preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to safely use hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to stand walk bend kneel climb and work around manufacturing equipment
Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening including marijuana
Must be available to work the assigned 12 hour night shift
Night Shift Schedule
The night shift works a 12 hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Sunday Monday Tuesday and every other Saturday-
- Wednesday Thursday Friday and every other Saturday
This schedule provides consistent hours while giving you every other weekend off.
