As a Senior Loan Associate youll support the credit and lending process by coordinating loan documentation managing pipeline activity and assisting with loan closings for new and existing clients. Youll act as a critical connection point between Relationship Bankers clients and internal teams helping ensure loan portfolio health timely service and an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and brings initiative attention to detail and a strong customer service mindset.
- Support Relationship Bankers by coordinating loan applications approvals and closings while managing related documentation and client communication.
- Serve as an additional point of contact for clients helping to deliver service aligned with client segment standards and maintaining strong relationships.
- Oversee general administration and maintenance of the loan portfolio including renewals extensions annual reviews and compliance tracking.
- Manage construction loans within the Profit Center (PC) including draw processes third-party inspections title coordination and completion oversight.
- Monitor and address past due loans maturing credits file exceptions and covenant requirements to ensure portfolio health and compliance.
- Assist with client onboarding service requests sales support materials and cross-departmental collaboration to enhance overall client experience.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- 35 years of experience in banking lending credit or a professional development program (PDP).
- NMLS required upon hire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional Excel skills.
- Experience working with banking and credit software; CRM experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client service and relationship management.
- Ability to organize prioritize multitask and follow through independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience serving high-net-worth individuals and collaborating across departments.
