In business for over 20 years a well-established family-owned fire and safety organization is immediately hiring a Lead Kitchen Fire Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technicians to cover Nebraska and Western Iowa. As the Lead Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technician you will mentor and coach techs; inspect install troubleshoot service and repair a variety of kitchen fire suppression systems emergency lighting systems perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders fire extinguisher repairs and filling; completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

SHIFT: 4x Days 6:00am 5:00pm (Monday Thursday). OT after 40 hours.

SUPPRESSION TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least five (5) years service inspection and/or install experience with kitchen fire suppression systems and/or fire extinguishers (i.e. Hydrotek Buckeye Ansul Redilite etc.)
• UL300 Certification a strong asset
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Knowledgeable of NFPA 17A and NFPA 96
• Ability to travel throughout Nebraska and Iowa
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (MVR Drug and Employment References)
