Job Summary

We are seeking a Java Developer with 8 years of experience in Java application development and strong expertise in application security and vulnerability remediation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing and remediating security vulnerabilities identified through SAST SCA vulnerability scans penetration testing and security assessments. The candidate should be proficient in Java Spring Spring Boot REST APIs and microservices with a strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze security vulnerabilities identified through SAST SCA vulnerability scans penetration testing and security assessments.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and determine appropriate remediation approaches for Java applications.
  • Implement secure code fixes for application-level vulnerabilities while minimizing functional regression.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities associated with Java libraries open-source components frameworks and third-party dependencies.
  • Upgrade vulnerable libraries and frameworks to supported versions and resolve compatibility issues resulting from upgrades.
  • Remediate common security weaknesses related to:
  • Injection
  • Authentication
  • Authorization
  • Sensitive data exposure
  • Insecure configurations
  • API security
  • Cryptography
