Job Summary

The Senior IT Project Manager will support a large-scale plant technology modernization program focused on upgrading technology hardware across more than 1000 plant locations. This position will provide project management support across approximately five active workstreams. The Project Manager will help establish consistent project structures coordinate activities and maintain visibility into deliverables while technical deployment work continues. The role operates within a hybrid delivery model. Approximately 40% of the work supports Agile activities related to pre-deployment architecture and solution development. Approximately 60% supports waterfall-based hardware deployments to individual plant locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support across approximately five active workstreams.
  • Partner with workstream leads to define scope deliverables dependencies and project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with program objectives.
  • Organize task backlogs and coordinate task ownership timing and completion.
  • Track milestones forecasts dependencies risks issues and mitigation actions.
  • Maintain clear and accurate project documentation.
  • Create and integrate a unified program roadmap across workstreams.
  • Provide consultative guidance to workstream leads and program stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities across technical teams business stakeholders and deployment groups.
  • Review project deliverables against documented expectations and agreed timelines.
  • Communicate project status decisions risks and required actions to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support change management activities connected to workstream and deployment efforts.
  • Help establish practical and repeatable processes within an evolving program environment.
  • Facilitate productive discussions and maintain focus when stakeholders have differing priorities or perspectives.
  • Use Microsoft Teams and other standard Microsoft applications to support collaboration and project tracking.
  • Use JIRA when applicable to support roadmap development backlog management and storyboard creation.
Required Experience
  • At least 7 years of dedicated project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Experience developing project plans defining deliverables and tracking execution.
  • Experience identifying and managing project risks issues dependencies and mitigation plans.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Hands-on experience using JIRA for roadmap development backlog management or storyboarding.
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise hardware deployments.
  • Experience supporting technology deployments across multiple physical locations.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving technical operational and vendor teams.
  • Experience supporting organizational change activities related to technology implementations.
Required Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate project requirements clearly and address competing priorities professionally.
  • Ability to introduce structure and consistent processes within an evolving environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within both Agile and waterfall delivery models.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
