Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer / DBA

Location: Chicago IL (3 days onsite)

Type : Contract

Pay Rate: $60-65/hr

Experience: 10 Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide recommendations and insight on data management governance procedures and the intricacies of acquiring maintaining validating and using data.
• Work with other team members including offshore teams to resolve high-priority issues.
• Help manage GAIA application pools.
• Design and maintain robust software solutions for monitoring and alerting as needed.
• Work with the team on database performance issues including code and infrastructure issues sometimes using SQL Sentry.
• Help monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server Availability Groups including but not limited to replication issues database failovers and general troubleshooting.
• Work with the team on certificate tracking and renewals.
• Use AI tools and agents in day-to-day work to enhance productivity automate routine tasks and accelerate issue diagnosis and resolution.
• Partner with offshore and globally distributed teams to ensure seamless coverage knowledge sharing and consistent delivery across time zones.
• Support the teams on-call rotation.
