CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin Linton and Wishek as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services including: a Level II Trauma Center primary and specialty physician clinics home health and hospice services durable medical equipment services a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourSenior Human Resources Business Partner you will helpalign business objectives with our employees and management in designated departments facilities markets and/or divisions so they can achieve their strategic goals and foster a positive productive work environment.

Every day you willact as an evidence-based consultant on a wide range of HR-related issues andproactively develop and implement HR solutions for complex client will be expected toconduct assessments anticipate HR needs communicate effectively with various stakeholders including CoEs and management and champion new HR initiatives.

To be successful in this role you mustpossess strong strategic thinking consulting and communication skills with a proven ability to formulate partnerships across the HR team to deliver value-added services.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Business Partnering:Align HR initiatives with local market conditions and CommonSpirit Healths strategic plan developing specific business plans to address HR-related goals collaborating with leadership to interpret results and presenting progress updates
  • Employee Relations Management:Act as a resource and partner to employees management and the HR team to foster positive employee relations by proactively identifying managing and facilitating equitable resolution of job-related complaints
  • Labor Relations Guidance:Provide expert direction to management on policies procedures and collective bargaining agreements collaborating with the Employee/Labor Relations CoE for education and legal advice on performance improvement and termination processes
  • Performance and Leadership Coaching:Offer developmental advice feedback and guidance to leaders and team members on engagement performance management conflict resolution and communication acting as a thought partner to enhance leadership effectiveness
  • Culture Integration and Nurturing:Embed CommonSpirit Healths mission vision and values into practices to cultivate a desired work culture utilizing diagnostic tools like My Culture to create action plans for culture development
  • Centers of Expertise (CoE) Collaboration:Partner with CoEs by identifying business needs for program solutions assisting with program implementation and working to improve communication and engagement processes for effective CoE utilization

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum of 3 years HR or leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years HR or leadership experience in the discipline OR Masters Degree (With relevant experience; equivalent education and/or experience; experience through certifications.) HR experience should encompass generalist experience involving a high level of complexity and score or at least 2 or more areas of specialty involving a high level of complexity and scope e.g. compensation benefits employee/labor relations talent acquisition etc
  • PHR SPHR SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
