JOB SUMMARY
Senior Hub Program (20 hours/week)
The Senior Hub Program Assistant assists the Senior Program Supervisor with all aspects of the Senior Hub Program and is responsible for increasing recruitment efforts daily activity set-up event coordination that supports inspires and motivates participants creates results-driven information and referrals promotes and supports volunteer coordination.
Senior Hub Program Assistant
Provide support and assistance to the Senior Program Coordinator for all aspects of the Senior Program including general activity set-up and event coordination that results in increased enrollment activities participation and enhanced programming.
Create a welcoming and inviting environment for program participants track attendance and check-in.
Coordinate with Senior Program Coordinator and outside trainers to ensure all activities are delivered effectively. Measure and record workshop results through surveys and participation.
Provide support as requested for targeted outreach strategies and culturally relevant outreach materials
Assist the Senior Program Supervisor to engage and supervise volunteers to support the Senior Program activities.
Assist the Senior Program Supervisor to complete all required reports including invoices schedules of activities and programs participant reports and reports of results of activities meeting all deadlines.
Meet regularly with Senior Hub Supervisor to discuss work performance program goals updates and other important topics.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Essential minimum skills education and experience:
Associates degree and at least 3 years of work experience
Experience working with seniors and older adults preferred
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite including Excel preferred
Bilingual Spanish/English both written and oral fluency.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively.
Must always perform tasks in a professional manner.
Must possess strong customer service skills.
Must possess strong writing skills.
Must be highly organized selfmotivated self-directed and detail- oriented.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural/multi-ethnic environment.
