Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Frontend Focus (Contract-to-Hire)

Our client is building software that helps engineering and manufacturing teams design build and manage complex hardware more efficiently. Theyre looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to help expand and improve a growing SaaS platform used by technical teams and external customers.

This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role with React and TypeScript at the center of the work. Youll have ownership across the application stack partnering with other engineers and stakeholders to build new functionality improve the user experience and deliver reliable software from development through production.

This is a remote role with required travel to company headquarters for onboarding and approximately one week per quarter thereafter. Candidates must be based in one of the following states: California Colorado Florida Indiana Kansas Michigan New York North Carolina Oregon South Dakota Texas Utah or Washington (hybrid remote if located in the Greater Seattle area).

In this role youll:

• Build and deliver new product features using React TypeScript GraphQL and Postgres
• Take ownership of features from technical design through development testing deployment and production support
• Develop modern intuitive React-based user interfaces
• Collaborate with engineers designers and stakeholders to turn requirements into high-quality software
• Work across the stack to connect frontend experiences with APIs backend services and data
• Write clean maintainable code with strong unit integration and end-to-end testing
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements and engineering best practices
• Participate in a reasonable on-call rotation supporting the SaaS platform

Ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years of professional software development experience
• Deep expertise with React and TypeScript
• Strong experience working with GraphQL APIs
• Experience with Postgres or other relational databases
• A strong testing discipline across unit integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience owning features through the full software development lifecycle
• Full-stack development experience with a particular strength on the frontend
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Prior experience participating in an on-call or production support rotation

Nice to have:

• Experience with or similar frameworks
• Apollo Hasura or comparable GraphQL technologies
• Docker Kubernetes/ECS and AWS
• Hands-on CI/CD experience
• Experience working with complex engineering manufacturing or other technical products

Must qualify to work in an ITAR environment (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
