What You Will Do
- Design develop and maintain robust full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability ensuring high performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Engage in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 5 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.
- Strong understanding of web technologies databases and application architecture.
- Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
- Experience in the fintech or environmental sectors understanding industry-specific challenges.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript HTML and CSS.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $160K to $220K complemented by equity of 0.2%. This company offers a competitive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being.
