    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • Three to five years related experience and/or training.
    • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions correspondence and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
    • Ability to access the Internet and collect research on methods and samples of procedures and documents in other districts or organizations.
    • To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software.
    • Satisfactory work record & criminal/child abuse clearances (Acts 34 114 and 151).

    Summary

    The Senior Executive Assistant for the Superintendent provides high-level confidential administrative support to the Superintendent handling district-wide strategic initiatives Board communications and sensitive matters requiring discretion and judgment.



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage Superintendents calendar travel and meeting logistics.
    • Prepare and distribute Board meeting materials and confidential reports.
    • Coordinate district-wide projects and ensure compliance with governance policies.
    • Serve as liaison between Superintendent and internal/external stakeholders.
    • Assists in maintaining accurate records related to the superintendents progress toward achieving board identified goals.
    • Composes and types routine correspondence.
    • Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence and other records for the superintendent.
    • Answers and screens supervisor telephone calls and arranges conference calls.
    • Greets scheduled visitors and conducts them to appropriate areas or persons.
    • Performs secretarial duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superintendent.
    • Coordinates and arranges meetings prepares agendas reserves and prepares facilities and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
    • Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
    • Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence including e-mail and faxes.
    • Orders and maintains supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance.
    • Maintains supervisors budget.
    • Prepares reports for the superintendent.
    • Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned or delegated by the supervisor.
    • Handle highly sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
