Role Overview: Senior Events Associate
Arlington VA In office Monday-Friday
Reporting to the Senior Manager Events Sponsorships & Partnerships the Senior Events Associate is an individual contributor within the Events Sponsorships & Partnerships team. This role will plan and execute public facing and internal events for various CoStar Group brands including tradeshows sponsorships/partnershipsspecial events conferences and event projects that cut across multiple departments. The goal will be to maximize internal or external customer engagement brand recognition sales lead generation a return oninvestmentand overall attendance. This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual contributor who can work efficiently in a matrixed fast-paced environment on several projects at one time.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative proactive creative and detailed events specialist who can manage multiple projects while partnering with Events team members and staff across the organization to ensure that every project is executed to the highest standards on budget and professionally. This candidate should be comfortable operating inenvironmentof constant change results-oriented highly motivated service-minded and enthusiasticdemonstratingstrong time management and communication skills.
The ideal candidate willpossessthe following skills:
Coordinate CoStar Group participation in industry events as assigned collaborating withinternal departments in planning branded materials sourcing audio visual and techrequirements décor and furnishingsbudgeting signage invoice reconciliation and on-siteexecution.
Coordinate boothlogistics including floorplans graphics furniture technology shipping installation and dismantle schedules.
Manage exhibitor portals and ensure completion of all required event documentation and deadlines.
Partner with salesand marketingleadership to align event participation with businessobjectivesand customer engagement strategies.
Collaborate on event space usage layouts rooming lists and agendas.
Manageinternalportable boothprogram.
Build event applications websites registration sites forms surveys and attendeecommunications.
Manageeventsmailboxesevent calendarsdesign request submissions andvendor orders.
Process invoices financial coding contract submissions purchase orders and other procurement steps.
Create PowerPoint presentations for core planning teams or event leads as updates tobrand or organization leadership proposals for approvals or planning tracking of majorprojects.
Source and manage attendee gifting and other customized materials for various brands.
Create and manage Excel grids for all event purposes including but not limited to food andbeverage planning housing budgets project timelines staff schedules space usageagendas event logistics specifications transportation activities data comparisons orexpense reporting to Finance.
Support request for proposals (RFP) processes and comparisons of event venues hotelsand/or services for presentation andselectionby stakeholders.
Help to identifyappropriate newbusiness relationships trends technology or bestpractices creating standard operating materials for team reference.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited not-for-profit in person University or College.
A track recordof commitment to prior employers.
3 years planning and executing corporate events tradeshow management conferences executive events and/or sponsorships.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong communicationskills both written and oral.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite notably ExcelPowerPoint and Teams.
Ability to travel for events and pre-event preparation 15-20%.
Ability and willingness to work extended hours and varying work schedules as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Cvent.
Effective negotiation skills.
Teamplayerwho collaborates and can easily pivot toassistother projects as needed.
Proven ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments.
Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressuredelivering onlast-minuterequestsandremainingdetailed oriented.
Flexibility and ability to push through indecision and ambiguity to deliver results.
Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force to move objects/boxes.

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
Base Compensation:$67000.00 - $91000.00 Annually
