Senior Estimator Commercial

What you need to be successful

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Math or other related field from an accredited university is required. MBA or Masters Degree in a related field is preferred

• Two years of pricing estimating cost controls business management industrial engineering or related experience in the aerospace/US Department of Defense manufacturing industry is preferred

• Basic knowledge of US Government contracting experience in the development of price proposals under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or familiarity with commercial aerospace pricing practices is required

• Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Access is required

• Possess the necessary skills and knowledge of accounting systems and processes in order to properly apply the overhead costs burden costs pricing factors and other applicable rates in the development of the price for a proposal

• Specific to Commercial Role: Apttus SAP Enovia and SalesForce experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints is required.

• Desirable qualities for the candidate would include good organizational skills ability to work concurrently on multiple projects strong communication skills detail-oriented and excellent analytical ability
