What Youll Do as a Sr. Engineer I/II:
- Consider project constraints perimeter conditions project goals agency standards and engineering best practices in developing project designs.
- Assist with construction administration including RFIs submittals and construction changes.
- Train and provide technical assistance to junior staff.
- Prepare technical reports and perform complex calculations related to hydrology hydraulics water quality stormwater detention and utility sizing.
- Perform complex grading design and earthwork calculations.
- Provide complex deliverables to TM or PM or externally including full QAQC and checking for completeness.
What Were Looking For:
- Have a combination of a bachelors degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university. Minimum years of experience can range from 5 to 7 years depending on previous land development design experience.
- Minimum 2 years independently solving complex engineering problems within land development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD LDD and/or Civil 3D software required.
- EIT Certification
- A motivated curious problem-solver who works well independently and on a team.
