Senior Electrical Engineer FPGA design required

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge and skill in analog power and FPGA design required.
• Level 5: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or comparable discipline with a minimum 9 years of prior relevant technical experience; or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Level 4: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or comparable discipline with a minimum 6 years of prior relevant technical experience; or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Essential Functions:

• Leads Electrical Engineering development efforts employing EVMS as a Control Account Manager to deliver complex electrical designs while meeting or exceeding program cost and schedule requirements required for Level 5; preferred for Level 4.
• Responsible for architecting designing developing modifying evaluating and integrating electronic circuit cards electronic parts components or integrated circuitry for complex high performance seabed hydrophone systems.
• Creates Analog and Digital designs of circuit cards including layout using industry standard tools such as LTSpice Cadence Mentor Graphics and Vivado.
• Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Responsible for providing input to program bids and generating bases of estimate.
• Performs qualification and test of electrical hardware and systems including the support of customer site installations and troubleshooting. Travel to customer installation sites required.
• Able to identify component operational characteristics that may impact system performance and or sustainability.
