Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to support the design and delivery of electrical systems for a wide range of MEP/buildings projects. This role focuses on design production AutoCAD Revit BIM coordination and technical development of electrical systems working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD (power grounding lighting fire alarm systems)
- Prepare single-line diagrams panel schedules risers and details
- Design LV electrical systems (480V 208/120V)
- Coordinate designs with architectural mechanical civil and structural disciplines
- Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection
- Support calculations specifications and documentation
- Mentor junior designers and CAD/BIM staff
- Perform quality reviews for compliance with codes and standards
- Provide construction support including RFIs and submittal reviews
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 815 years of MEP electrical design experience
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of power distribution lighting and fire alarm systems
- Working knowledge of NEC NFPA IBC Life Safety Code
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with transportation or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with SKM ETAP or BIM tools
- Experience with medium-voltage systems (5kV/15kV)
- Prior mentoring or leadership experience
Compensation Range:
