Responsibilities
- Design build and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Azure
- Administer and tune Snowflake environments ensuring robust security and performance
- Automate processes and workflows using Python scripting and DevOps tools
- Implement and maintain containerized solutions with AKS for scalable deployments
- Collaborate with data engineering and AI/ML teams to support platform integration
- Drive monitoring logging and observability for cloud and data systems using Azure Monitoring and Log Analytics
- Conduct cost/benefit analyses and contribute to architectural decisions for AI-enabled data platforms
- Ensure compliance governance and security best practices across all solutions
Required Skills and Experience
- 8 years proven DevOps experience in Azure environments
- Mastery of Git Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline tools
- Advanced Snowflake administration including RBAC and warehouse management
- Proficient in Python for automation and data engineering tasks
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration; AKS strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of data pipelines ETL and cloud data integration
- Experience integrating AI/ML concepts with cloud platforms
- Practical knowledge of centralized monitoring alerting and security logging in Azure
- Skilled with observability tools for modern cloud environments
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled data platforms (Snowflake Cortex ML pipelines)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation skills
- Knowledge of data security compliance and governance frameworks
- Background in public sector or large enterprise settings
- Strong analytical multi-tasking and documentation abilities
- Familiarity with Snowflake AI/Cortex features
