How youll have an impact at Paulas Choice:

The Senior Demand Planning Manager is critical to the success of Paulas Choices supply chain organization. The role is responsible for leading a global team of Category Demand Planners elevating demand planning from a fragmented channel-by-channel activity into a single disciplined global process owning the demand step of S&OP and driving a consistent forecasting methodology across NAM APAC EU and ANZ.

As the Senior Demand Planning Manager you will:

  • Own aggregated category-level global demand planning for revenue-generating units with SKU-level forecasts owned by category and region/market planners
  • Scale a single consistent forecasting methodology across NAM APAC EU and ANZ replacing todays inconsistent market-by-market approaches
  • Maintain a rolling 18-month demand horizon keeping assumptions consistent across base trends launches samples promotions and peak volumes
  • Bring global category insights and item-level trends into S&OP meetings and drive demand plan alignment to category growth plans
  • Run monthly demand reviews with regional partners and lead the demand step of a newly formalized integrated S&OP process spanning demand supply commercial and finance
  • Partner with Sales Marketing Finance and Supply to build the consensus demand plan and represent demand planning at the consensus and executive tiers of S&OP
  • Run an in-month global pacing view to surface revenue risks and opportunities early enough for supply to act
  • Provide timely in-season analysis on promotions events and launches ensuring stakeholders understand results and downstream implications
  • Define and own forecast KPIs at a consistent lag cadence and use them to drive continuous improvement across the team
  • Drive Quarterly Category Hindsight reviews Product Lifecycle Management and assortment optimization including discontinuation triggers to reduce SLOB exposure
  • Lead product ranking and core-SKU definition across the business to drive inventory strategy and protect never-out-of-stock items
  • Drive the new-product-launch market forecast consolidation and approval process in partnership with Product Marketing integrating demand planning earlier in the Stage Gate process
  • Serve as the demand planning lead on the Oracle Planning Central (OPC) implementation moving the team off manual workarounds and tuning the statistical forecast baseline to the business
  • Ensure planning tools efficiently utilize the demand plan as the primary driver along with key data inputs from costing and operations to drive supply planning activities
  • Hire manage and develop the Global Category Demand Planning team building capability and coverage as the function scales globally

Location: Fully remote within the US; West Coast only for time-zone alignment

Hours: Typical PDT business hours with flexibility required to support global time zones

Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting and screen time

What youll bring to the table:

Skills:

  • Strong analytical capability - able to synthesize demand signals and item-level trends across multiple systems and markets to build a defensible accurate global forecast
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills; this role must be credible and effective across commercial finance and supply chain audiences globally
  • Strong people leadership: able to hire coach and develop planners while holding a consistent standard across categories and regions
  • Deep familiarity with S&OP/IBP process design and the ability to represent global demand needs within a consensus-driven planning cadence
  • Ability to write clear structured forecasting standards and work instructions that enable teams to execute consistently without escalation at scale across markets
  • Comfortable operating in a business that is actively transforming its processes systems and organizational design - and able to lead others through that change calmly and constructively
  • Leads with accountability - takes ownership of the global forecast not just a single region or channel and sets that standard for every member of the team
  • Builds clarity in ambiguity - creates process documentation and decision frameworks where they do not yet exist across a function still standardizing globally
  • Commercially grounded - understands the revenue and margin implications of demand decisions across all markets and channels and communicates them proactively to stakeholders

Experience:

  • 8 years of progressive experience in demand planning merchandise planning or S&OP/IBP in a multi-channel multi-market consumer goods or beauty environment
  • 4 years of direct people management or formal team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience building or leading a formal S&OP/IBP process ideally across multiple regions or markets
  • Advanced Excel skills using large data sets; comfortable building and overseeing ad hoc analysis and reporting at both category and SKU level
  • Experience leading planning system implementations (Oracle Planning Central or comparable) or major process redesigns with the ability to drive change as a subject-matter expert
  • Familiarity with Power BI and NetSuite; a clear intent to drive the organization away from manual workarounds toward system-native solutions
  • Prior experience in personal care beauty or a comparable multinational CPG environment a plus
  • Bachelors degree required; APICS CPIM or CSCP certification a plus

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$125000 - $135000 USD/annually

Paulas Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local national and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidates region/town/cost of living.

For new hires we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience skills education geographic location and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
