Erico Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Database Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing maintaining optimizing and securing database systems that support business operations and enterprise applications.
This role requires strong technical expertise in database architecture performance tuning troubleshooting and data management. The Senior Database Engineer will collaborate with software developers system administrators and project teams to ensure reliable scalable and secure database environments.
The successful candidate should have experience working with relational and cloud-based database systems strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain database systems and architectures
Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies
Troubleshoot database issues and ensure system reliability
Manage data security backup and recovery processes
Collaborate with development teams on database integration and support
Create and maintain database documentation and procedures
Ensure database compliance integrity and availability
Requirements
5 years of database engineering or administration experience
Strong knowledge of SQL MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle or SQL Server
Experience with cloud database platforms and data migration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
Experience with AWS Azure or Google Cloud database services
Familiarity with database security and performance optimization
