Job Title: Senior Data EngineerJob Location: Lansing MI (Hybrid)Job Type: ContractJob Description/ Requirement:

• 37 years of experience in Data Engineering Business Intelligence Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong experience in project management reporting and portfolio analytics.
• Hands-on experience with SQL data integration ETL and data transformation.
• Experience developing dashboards and executive reports using Microsoft Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Experience creating KPIs scorecards and portfolio performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling reporting automation and data quality.
• Experience analyzing project portfolio financial and operational data.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science Business Analytics Mathematics Statistics Engineering or a related field.
• Equivalent experience and certifications will also be considered.

Preferred:

• Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as Clarity ServiceNow PPM Planview or Microsoft Project Online.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Factory Azure SQL SQL Server or enterprise data warehousing.
• Knowledge of APIs ETL processes scripting and reporting automation.
• Experience in government or large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum Kanban SAFe or PMBOK methodologies.
• Experience with financial and portfolio performance reporting.
