Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer with expertise in Python Snowflake and AWS to architect develop and optimize scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
- Own and oversee production support alongside dedicated L1/L2 teams driving incident resolution root cause analysis and prioritizing BAU enhancements to improve system reliability
- Lead technical discussions mentor developers and drive best practices
- Develop ETL frameworks and tools
- Design and optimize databases (e.g. Snowflake PostgreSQL MySQL)
- Deploy and manage cloud solutions on AWS (Lambda Glue S3 Airflow)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines security best practices and performance monitoring
Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage production support operations including incident triage escalation handling and coordination with L1/L2 support teams
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Python backend development
- Expertise in Snowflake PostgreSQL and other DB tools
- Expertise in AWS services Scalr Terraform
- Experience with ETL frameworks and tools
- Experience with Kafka event-driven architecture
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills
- Experience working for the technology department of an Asset Management firm
- Experience in Loan Asset class and/or Private Placements
