Senior Data Architect

As a Senior Data Architect you will be responsible for our business-critical systems (on-prem and cloud). This highly visible role will have you working closely with other disciplines including program managers project managers business groups and IT support teams. You will need an excellent combination of relevant technical knowledge cross-group collaboration skills communication and negotiation skills relationship-building skills and planning skills. You will also need a sense of urgency to get things done efficiently working both independently and as part of a team. You understand the need for implementing and following processes to support enterprise systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in computer science or computer/management information systems
  7-10 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
• Take reasonable care of your own and others health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Companys Zero Injury principles
• Extensive experience maintaining and supporting production systems and infrastructure
• Highly skilled at SQL administration and database design
• Experience with SharePoint and Power Apps suite especially Power BI
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Experience with waterfall and agile models for system development
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent planning skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Logical and efficient with a keen attention to detail

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• When visiting jobsites the work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions
• This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures dirt dust fumes smoke unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
