ERG is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to support the full lifecycle of contractsfrom proposal development through administration and this role you will serve as a key advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance manage risk and drive successful contract this senior-level position you will leverage your expertise to guide complex contract activities mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued development of the Contracts Department. Job Description:
  • Administer federal state and/or local contracts across the full lifecycle including proposal preparation negotiation administration and closeout
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams (technical business development subcontracts and accounting) to deliver comprehensive contract support
  • Advise senior management on contractual risk compliance matters and contract strategy
  • Partner with technical and business leads to drive compliant competitive proposals
  • Conduct contracts-related research and analysis and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contract department policies procedures and best practices
  • Support training and development initiatives within the Contracts Department
  • Directly prepare analyze and negotiate cost and pricing proposals including profitability analyses and risk assessments
  • Implement and uphold procurement policies procedures and best practices
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior contract professionals supporting their development and knowledge of contracting best practices
  • Support contract closeout activities ensuring accuracy completeness and timely resolution of outstanding items
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 12 years of contract administration experience supporting federal state and/or local government contracts; experience as a federal government prime contractor in professional services preferred
  • Experience with GSA Multiple Award Schedules U.S. EPA and/or DoD contracting is a plus (experience with other federal agencies welcome)
  • Demonstrated expertise in proposal pricing contract negotiation and problem solving
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Adobe
  • Solid understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contract types including CPFF T&M FFP
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP is a plus
  • Excellent communication organizational and proactive problem-solving skills
