Job Summary

Arrow Service Team is looking for a full-time Senior Construction Team Lead to join our Restoration Reconstruction Team of professionals in Bismarck ND!

Arrow Service Team is based out of Bismarck ND and is the leader in the disaster restoration industry in North Dakota. We handle a wide variety of restoration jobs from residential (primarily) to commercial and are well marketed. What makes our industry unique is that our line of work primarily entails restoring an existing property to its pre-state/pre loss condition or better. You wont get bored with the many different projects we handle on a daily basis.

This is a full-time position. Typical hours are from 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Longer hours and some flexibility in hours may be needed dependent upon business needs. Team Leads and Project Managers are also on a rotating on-call schedule to handle any afterhours emergencies.

Training is fully paid and on-the-job with our experienced team of Department Managers Leads as well as our seasoned Project Managers. We have a team of skilled employees ready to share their diverse knowledge skills and tricks of the trade to help you succeed. Expected core training is 2 months but depends on overall progress.

In this role youll be learning something new every day. Training adaptation to market conditions and skill development is always ongoing in this trade and industry. Over the course of time you will become well versed in many key decision-making areas making you even more valuable.

Position Summary:

The Senior Construction Team Lead works directly with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed professionally profitably safely and on schedule. This role is responsible for leadership accountability operational oversight team development and management of the company field schedule.

Job Duties:

-Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with Project Managers to review project status scheduling compliance job costing invoicing and overall performance.
  • Provide coaching leadership and accountability to ensure team goals and company standards are consistently met.
  • Review work orders and project documentation for accuracy clarity and operational efficiency.

-Operations & Field Schedule Management

  • Oversee and manage the company field schedule to maximize production efficiency manpower allocation project timelines and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate scheduling priorities with Project Managers subcontractors field staff and leadership.
  • Assist in resolving project delays scheduling conflicts and operational challenges.
  • Monitoring and updating internal flooring and cabinet display materials in addition to pricing.

-Claims Customer & Revenue Support

  • Work closely with the Claims Department adjusters customers and Project Managers to support approvals supplements and project profitability.
  • Assist the team in achieving annual revenue goals while maintaining targeted cost of sale percentages.
  • Support customer communication and conflict resolution when needed.

-Training & Team Development

  • Conduct ongoing training and mentorship focused on leadership communication sales growth estimating customer relations and operational consistency.
  • Foster a positive team culture built on professionalism accountability innovation and continuous improvement.

-Performance Goals

  • Support Project Managers in achieving individual and team revenue goals.
  • Maintain profitability targets and cost of sale expectations.
  • Ensure efficient management of the field schedule and project completion timelines.
  • Promote a strong Team First culture focused on communication accountability and growth.

Compensation & Incentive Structure:

Base Compensation:

Salary compensation to be determined based on experience industry related success and knowledge desirable leadership traits and adherence to a professional standard.

Performance Bonus:

The Senior Construction Team Lead is eligible for an annual performance bonus (% of salary).

Bonus eligibility and payout will be determined based on:

  • Achievement of the teams annual revenue quota.
  • Maintaining company cost of sale targets.
  • Effective management of the company field schedule.
  • Overall team performance operational efficiency and leadership effectiveness.

Bonus payouts are subject to:

  • Active employment at the time of payout.
  • Satisfactory performance and compliance with company standards and policies.


Experience and Skills (strong combination preferred but willing to train the right person):

  • Strong leadership and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in restoration and/or construction and/or homebuilding process.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction restoration techniques and construction materials.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Coachability and openness to constructive criticism.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.


License/Certification:

  • Valid Drivers License (Required).


Work Location:

  • Primarily at office but also at jobsites for scopes customer visits public events etc.


Base Pay:

  • Starting salaried base pay is negotiable and largely depends on experience diversity of skillsets industry knowledge leadership capability and general abilities. (DOE)
  • 90-day review (potential for wage adjustment).
  • Annual reviews scheduled thereafter (potential for wage adjustment).

Additional Pay Incentives:

  • Quarterly profit sharing.
