Senior Construction Manager

We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join our team in Atlanta GA.

• Plans and organizes the observation and documentation of construction projects.

• Schedules and coordinates observation of ongoing work and testing and sampling ofmaterials.

• Assigns leads and supervises internal staff engaged in observation and testing and inrelated record keeping.

• Monitors contractors progress against schedule and prepares progress reports.

• Reviews payment requests and determines amount owing to contractor(s) based on onsite observations and contract stipulations.

• Oversees compilation of final estimate documents.

• Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

• Bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering or related field and tenyears related experience including personnel supervision.

• Engineering design experiencedesirable. With Associates degree eighteen years of related experience. Without adegree twenty years related experience is required.

• Requirements typically include: Ability to walk long distances climb ladders stoop squatand crawl down into ditches; ability to observe construction activities and distinguish colors;and ability to perceive back-up alarms and other warnings.

• Must be able to work outdoors invarying temperatures and weather conditions subject to insects flooded terrain and
  equipment/traffic hazards.

• Job also requires ability to process paper and electronic
  documents and utilize computer.

• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.

• Job also requires ability to plan and prioritize tasks and review contract documents projectplans and progress reports.

• Incumbent musthave valid drivers license and a driving record that meets company policy.

Expected compensation range is between $113000-$165000 annually depending on skills experience and geographical location.
