Senior Claims Representative - General Liability & Auto
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Representative to join a team. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial general liability and commercial auto claims . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims handling litigation management and settlement strategies with a focus on industries such as construction energy and environmental sectors.
- Salary Range: $70000 - $80000 (depending on experience)

- Manage a portfolio of commercial general liability and commercial auto claims.
- Investigate claims to evaluate coverage liability damages and exposure.
- Analyze policies reports statements medical records and expert opinions to resolve claims.
- Develop and execute effective claim resolution settlement and reserving strategies.
- Negotiate settlements to achieve appropriate claim outcomes.
- Communicate coverage positions and claim decisions to insureds claimants brokers and legal counsel.
- Participate in mediations arbitrations depositions settlement conferences and trials as needed.
- Authorize payments within delegated authority and ensure timely and accurate claim handling.
- Maintain complete and accurate claim documentation and records.
- Collaborate with internal partners to strengthen customer relationships and improve business results.
- Serve as a resource on casualty claims handling coverage analysis litigation management and settlement strategies.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Risk Management Insurance Finance or a related field (required).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling commercial general liability and/or commercial auto claims.
- At least 2 years of experience managing a litigated desk.
- Exposure to claims ranging from $50000 to $500000.
- Caseload management of 85-100 claims.
- Licensing: Adjuster license preferred (home state license in TX or FL is ideal; assistance provided to obtain licenses if needed).
- Skills: Strong analytical negotiation communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Policy interpretation coverage analysis reserving practices and litigation management.
- Travel: Ability to travel as needed.
