Step Into Your New Role

Kleinfelder is looking for a detail-oriented Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager to join our expanding southeast engineering team. With growing opportunities in the region and a variety of clients the ideal candidate will join our high achieving fast-paced team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature but experience in traditional industrial/commercial land development renewables utility infrastructure and/or mining is especially relevant.

This is a hybrid office role and can be based in:

• Raleigh NC
• Charlotte NC

Key responsibilities include:

• Ability to target and generate new opportunities
• Managing project execution including proposal development project organization subcontractor management scheduling financial management health and safety stewardship and delivery quality
• Overseeing pursuits designate the appropriate resources to projects define client needs address client concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challenges
• Leading technical cost and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value
• Nurturing and growing client relationships
• Supporting the achievement of professional staffs career goals

Education/Certification:

• Required Bachelor of Science Degreein Engineering
• Required Professional Engineer (PE)

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design permitting and construction as a consultant
• Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships
• Capability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
• Understanding of financial management of projects
• 10 years of related experience

Following an offer candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive background check.
