Senior Chiller Technician Indianapolis IN
A national provider of temporary and portable HVAC and chiller solutions is hiring a Senior Chiller Technician to service troubleshoot and repair large-tonnage cooling equipment in the field. This is a hands-on repair-focused role for a technician who can diagnose and fix chillers not just run preventative maintenance.
What Youll Do
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair large-tonnage chillers and HVAC equipment in the field
- Perform startups shutdowns and load-based performance checks
- Respond to service calls and resolve issues to root cause with minimal downtime
- Read and interpret schematics electrical diagrams and control sequences
- Document work accurately and communicate clearly with the customer and dispatch
Must-Have
- 57 years of hands-on experience with large-tonnage HVAC and chiller equipment
- Proven experience troubleshooting AND repairing chillers not just preventative maintenance
- Strong electrical refrigeration and controls diagnostic skills
- EPA Universal certification
- Valid drivers license and clean-to-acceptable MVR
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
