The Senior Business Systems Analyst partners with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze business requirements evaluate system capabilities and recommend solutions that support organizational objectives. This role contributes to business process improvement initiatives identifies system constraints and impacts and helps ensure technology solutions effectively meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.
Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes .
Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups aiming to improve business results .
Identifies and documents all system constraints implications and consequences of various proposed system changes .
Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues for a specific business group.
Required Qualifications
University/college degree with 2 years of relevant professional experience.
In lieu of a degree a comparable combination of education job specific certification(s) and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technology solutions.
Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
Proficiency with business process analysis requirements documentation and system testing methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting technology applications and system implementations.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and business analysis best practices.
Familiarity with Agile Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
