Senior AWS Cloud Developer Architect

Pay Range: $55 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include but are not limited to health insurance (medical dental vision) 401(k) plan and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop production-quality services APIs and integrations using modern engineering practices.
• Design and implement AWS solutions utilizing services such as ECS Fargate Lambda API Gateway SQS SNS S3 RDS and DynamoDB.
• Mentor developers and promote consistent cloud integration security and operational engineering practices.
• Support production incidents and conduct root-cause analysis and technical debt reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete architecture and security reviews.
• Define non-functional requirements for latency throughput availability and disaster recovery.
• Lead code reviews technical design reviews and performance tuning efforts.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams API contracts and operational runbooks.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 8 years of experience in software engineering including 4 years in designing and operating AWS solutions.
• Proficiency in Java JavaScript TypeScript MongoDB PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS Fargate Lambda API Gateway EventBridge SQS SNS S3 RDS DynamoDB and CloudFormation.
• Strong background in observability using CloudWatch or comparable tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Familiarity with relational databases preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Expertise in designing REST APIs and understanding event-driven and distributed-system design.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking IAM VPCs and load balancing.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD Jira or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted operational tooling or data lakes
