Job Summary

Acrisure is seeking aSenior Auditorto join ourInternal Auditteam.Reporting to the Internal Audit DirectortheSenior Auditoris part of a global/multi-national team that works as an independent function providing assurance to management and the Audit Committee over Acrisures internal controls. This role will be based in Grand Rapids Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of risk-based audittestingprograms in conjunction with an annual internal audit plan (financial controls and compliance)

  • Helpdeterminescope of specificaudits andtestingproceduresin conjunction withInternal AuditLeadershipand others

  • Assessinternal control designand accuracyof information

  • Conduct risk assessmentsof assigned departmentsor functionalareasinestablished/required timeline

  • Conductend to end auditsfrom planning to reportingand follow up

  • Demonstrate ability to gather analyze data concludeand communicate findings

  • Strong analyticalinterpersonaland verbal/written communication skills with business financial and operational acumen

  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders via the auditlifecycle

  • Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish

  • Ensure compliance with IAs internal KPIs/SLAs (e.g.MAPs follow up closing of wps etc.)

  • Assist with SOX testingas needed

Requirements

  • Highly organized self-starter detail oriented and have strong project management skills and excellent written & oral communication

  • Experience testing SOX controls

  • Mustexhibitskeptical thinking with ability to get into the details

  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities in a time critical fast-paced environment with ability to goabove and beyondnormal work hours when necessary

  • Willingness to travelup to 25%

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Financeor equivalent in education and experience

  • Qualifiedauditor accounting professional (e.g. CIA ACA ACCA CPA) ornear-qualifiedwith relevant experience.

  • Insurance accounting background a plus

  • 4yearsfinancialservicesexperience through public accounting/auditing and/or industry experience
