The Opportunity

As a Senior Auditor youll take an active role in planning executing and completing audit engagements while working directly with managers principals and client leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities
Audit & Assurance Engagements
  • Execute audit review and assurance engagements from planning through completion
  • Manage engagement budgets timelines and fieldwork activities
  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation
  • Analyze accounting records and financial data
  • Ensure engagements are completed efficiently and in accordance with professional standards
Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Apply GAAP cash basis tax basis and other specialized accounting frameworks
  • Evaluate accounting policies and financial reporting practices
  • Research technical accounting and audit matters
  • Assist in identifying and resolving complex financial reporting issues
  • Maintain current knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients
  • Communicate engagement progress findings and recommendations effectively
  • Assist clients with accounting and reporting challenges
  • Deliver exceptional client service throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Become a trusted resource for client management teams
Risk Assessment & Problem Solving
  • Identify risks and areas for operational improvement
  • Recommend practical solutions and best practices
  • Assist clients in strengthening internal controls
  • Evaluate financial reporting processes and procedures
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with audit managers principals and engagement teams
  • Assist in mentoring and supporting staff accountants

  • Support firm growth initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Active CPA license
  • 4-5 years of public accounting audit experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
