The Opportunity

As a Senior Audit Associate youll play a key role in planning coordinating and executing assurance engagements while working closely with managers partners and client leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities
Audit & Assurance Engagements
  • Lead audit review and assurance engagement work
  • Assist in planning and coordinating engagement activities
  • Prepare and review financial statements and audit workpapers
  • Ensure engagements are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Help maintain compliance with professional and firm standards
Financial Reporting & Risk Assessment
  • Identify accounting reporting and audit risks
  • Analyze financial information and supporting documentation
  • Research technical accounting and assurance matters
  • Recommend improvements to financial reporting processes
  • Stay current on evolving accounting and auditing standards
Client Relationship Management
  • Build trusted relationships with clients
  • Communicate engagement updates and findings effectively
  • Deliver exceptional client service and responsiveness
  • Assist clients with financial reporting and compliance questions
  • Help identify opportunities to provide additional value
Leadership & Staff Development
  • Supervise and mentor staff accountants
  • Review work and provide constructive feedback
  • Assist with training and onboarding initiatives
  • Collaborate with managers and partners on engagement strategy
  • Help develop future leaders within the firm
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 25 years of public accounting audit experience
  • Experience with audit review compilation or assurance engagements
  • Strong understanding of audit methodology and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong client service orientation
