Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior ATE Technician to support semiconductor Automated Test Equipment (ATE) operations within a high-volume engineering and validation environment. The role involves tester setup hardware changeovers load board installation equipment maintenance calibration and execution of production and engineering test plans. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting ATE systems handlers device interface hardware and semiconductor test operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform docking and undocking of ATE testers with automated handlers.
  • Install replace and validate Device Interface Boards (DIBs) and load boards.
  • Ensure accurate pogo-pin alignment to prevent damaged pins and poor electrical contact.
  • Execute hardware changeovers including sockets plungers stiffeners and interface kits for different SoC products.
  • Perform continuity isolation and electrical verification of load boards before testing.
  • Troubleshoot and validate load boards during engineering and production activities.
  • Coordinate socket and pin repairs with external vendors and maintenance teams.
  • Perform preventive maintenance diagnostics and calibration of ATE systems to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Load test programs and execute daily test plans provided by ATE Engineers.
  • Test semiconductor devices and collect production or engineering data for analysis.
  • Support shipping receiving inventory management and handling of ATE hardware and accessories.
  • Maintain proper documentation of equipment status maintenance activities and test execution.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Semiconductor ATE environments.
  • Experience working with semiconductor test equipment handlers load boards and DIB assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor test hardware installation and maintenance.
  • Experience supporting engineering validation or high-volume manufacturing test operations.
  • Ability to read hardware documentation test procedures and engineering instructions.
  • Comfortable working in laboratory or production test environments.
