Responsibilities

  • PartnerswithFinancialAdvisortoreviewclientscurrentportfoliodesignunderstandclient goals enter client data and conduct financialanalysis.
  • Evaluatesoverallindividualandemployer-basedretirementneedsresearchesvarious options and recommends plans
  • Researchesandprovidesrecommendationsrelatedtoriskmanagementconcernsincluding insurance.
  • Designsandrecommendsatailoredfinancialanalysisorcomprehensivefinancialplanfor clients and prospects that meet their short and long-term financial needs andgoals.
  • Preparespresentationsthatclearlycommunicatetherecommendationsandalternatives related to the clients financial analysis and comprehensive plandesign.
  • Researchesinformationasnecessaryonacase-by-casebasisandwritescustomized financial plan observations and recommendations for each client
  • Prepares files for meetings with existing and newclients
  • Preparescoordinatesandfollowsthroughonanyneededcommunicationwithnewor existingclients
  • Continuouslymonitorsclientsfinancialsituationswithdetailandaccuracywiththeability to understand their overall financialpicture
  • Responds to client questions by telephone email and occasional personalvisits.
  • Educatesclientsonthefunctionsofvarioussecuritiesmarketsandtheprincipalfactorsthat affect them.
  • Provides guidance on estate planning options andtechniques.
  • Conductsresearchasneededrelatedtoassignedclientcasesincludingbutnotlimitedto basicincometaxquestionsandotherlegalissuesrequestingguidancewhenappropriate.
  • May participate in clientpresentations.
  • May open transfer and close customer accounts and maintain appropriate accountrecords.
  • May obtain and verify the clients purchase and sale instructions enter orders and follow up on completion oftransactions.
  • Ensures firm and regulatory policies are followed within compliancestandards
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities asassigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field strongly preferred
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis onfinancial retirement and estate planning

or

  • An equivalent combination of experience education and/or training as approved by Human Resources

Licenses & Certifications

  • SIE Series7 Series 63 65 and/or66 as required by state
  • Certified Financial Planner OR Chartered Financial Consultant

Travel: None required

Benefits: 100% paid Medical Dental and Vision; 401k Match Annual Discretionary Bonus PTO

Compensation: $75000 - $83000

The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity) discretionary bonuses or commissions.
