Senior Associate, Athletics Director, Athletics

The Senior Associate Athletics Director serves as a strategic member of the senior administrative team working closely with the Director of Athletics to position BU Athletics for success in a rapidly evolving college athletics landscape.

• Provides visionary oversight for student-athlete welfare which includes academic leadership career development and performance & wellness initiatives.
• Oversees and directs all academic compliance social and community related activities for student-athletes.
• Develops and implements leadership mentoring and career development programs for student-athletes coaches and staff.
• Serves as Deputy Title IX coordinator.
• Serves as liaison to multiple on campus units including but not limited to the Dean of Students Admissions Equal Opportunity Office and wellness services.
• Works closely with other members of the senior team and respective units to ensure that the objectives of the Director are accomplished.
• Serves as sport administrator for assigned programs.

B.A./B.S. required. Masters Degree and at least eight years of administrative experience at a Division 1 level college/university is preferred.
