In all we do we strive to uphold Alos Guiding Principles with a Together We Win attitude and a relentless pursuit of Senior Asset Protection Analyst is based at Alos Beverly Hills headquarters and provides analytical leadership risk intelligence and executive reporting for the Asset Protection & Safety position is primarily focused on identifying and mitigating risk across Alos retail sanctuaries. The Senior Analyst will also evaluate relevant enterprise data and support risk analysis across broader company operations as business needs with an AI-first mindset the Senior Analyst uses approved artificial intelligence automation advanced analytics and established Asset Protection methodologies to detect risk earlier improve investigative efficiency and guide strategic decisions. The role transforms complex data into actionable insights that protect company assets safeguard employees and guests and strengthen operational with Alos Together We Win principle the Senior Analyst works collaboratively across functions shares insights builds alignment and helps stakeholders turn data into meaningful action.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Asset Protection & Risk Analytics
- Lead shrink and loss analysis across Alo sanctuaries identifying trends by location market product and contributing cause.
- Analyze relevant transaction inventory RFID incident cash audit and operational data to identify emerging risks and areas of financial exposure.
- Develop and enhance AI-supported risk scoring and early-warning indicators in partnership with technical and business teams.
- Identify trends involving external theft fraud organized retail crime internal dishonesty indicators operational breakdowns and control gaps.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and translate findings into clear prevention strategies resource priorities and corrective actions.
- Measure the effectiveness and financial impact of Asset Protection programs controls and mitigation efforts.
- Support strategic risk assessments and ad hoc analysis involving material incidents emerging threats or business priorities.
Exception Reporting & Investigative Support
- Own and continuously improve exception-based reporting across relevant enterprise datasets.
- Use anomaly detection and established risk indicators to identify unusual transactions inventory activity cash discrepancies and other exceptions requiring review.
- Refine detection rules and alert thresholds to improve accuracy prioritize material risk and reduce false positives.
- Lead the analytical component of investigations through transaction review pattern identification timeline development and evidence organization.
- Prepare accurate objective and decision-ready case materials for Asset Protection Human Resources Legal and operational leadership.
- Maintain complete and appropriately secured analytical and investigative records.
- Treat AI-generated alerts as investigative leads that require validation and appropriate human review before conclusions or actions are taken.
AI Automation & Technology
- Use approved generative AI automation and advanced analytical tools to accelerate research identify patterns and improve the speed and quality of decision-making.
- Develop scalable AI-assisted workflows for risk analysis exception reporting incident triage investigative support and recurring reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes strengthen data integrity and improve enterprise visibility.
- Partner with IT Information Security Legal Operations and approved vendors to evaluate and implement relevant technologies.
- Develop business requirements testing criteria and performance measures for technology pilots and system enhancements.
- Evaluate technology based on accuracy reliability operational value scalability privacy and financial return.
- Use approved systems and authorized data while protecting confidential investigative employee guest and business information.
Dashboards & Executive Reporting
- Own Asset Protection dashboards KPI definitions reporting standards and supporting data-quality controls.
- Automate recurring reporting data validation KPI monitoring and leadership summaries where appropriate.
- Deliver concise executive reporting that clearly communicates financial exposure emerging trends business impact and recommended actions.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to Directors Vice Presidents and other senior stakeholders.
- Support quarterly and annual Asset Protection planning forecasting and goal setting.
- Track corrective actions and communicate whether identified risks and mitigation efforts are improving stable or deteriorating.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on shrink fraud exception reporting investigative analytics and AI-enabled risk detection.
- Lead cross-functional risk reviews and help stakeholders translate analytical findings into practical business action.
- Build trusted partnerships with Retail Operations Finance Human Resources Legal IT Information Security and other business stakeholders.
- Provide analytical guidance and mentoring to Asset Protection and operational partners.
- Establish repeatable analytical methodologies and promote consistent reporting practices.
- Represent Asset Protection & Safety in relevant data technology and operational initiatives.
- Promote an ethical objective and evidence-based approach to risk assessment and decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in data analytics business finance criminal justice information systems or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Five or more years of combined experience in asset protection loss prevention investigations retail operations fraud risk management or business analytics.
- Experience supporting a multi-location or complex retail environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analysis and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of shrink retail theft fraud internal investigations operational controls and investigative documentation.
- Experience with exception reporting dashboards risk scoring or automated analytical workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI Tableau or a comparable business-intelligence platform.
- Ability to query combine validate and analyze structured data; working proficiency in SQL strongly preferred.
- Practical experience using generative AI automation machine-learning or anomaly-detection tools to improve business processes or decision-making.
- Experience with POS RFID inventory incident reporting case management surveillance or other relevant business systems.
- Strong written verbal and executive presentation skills including the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated discretion sound judgment attention to detail and commitment to data integrity when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to influence decisions build strong cross-functional relationships and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity adaptability and a continuous-improvement mindset with a willingness to responsibly test and adopt new technologies.
The base salary range for this position is $120000-$130000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. As such on occasion and when applicable there is the possibility that the final agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the companys total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses long term incentives a PTO policy and many other progressive benefits.
