Major responsibilities:
Communicate card portfolio insights to risk committees senior leadership marketing finance teams and strategy forums translating complex data into clear decision-ready narratives.
Create early warning indicator reports for detecting deteriorating credit quality across portfolios and customer segments.
Analyze customer acquisition channels and partners to optimize risk-adjusted returns across card products segments and acquisition channels.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of credit card portfolio performance metrics including delinquency charge-off and utilization patterns.
Work with minimal supervision to independently explore large datasets surface insights and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
Evaluate and pilot emerging tools platforms and technologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of credit risk analytics.
Drive process automation initiatives to streamline reporting data preparation and model execution workflows.
Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights into existing risk management frameworks and decision-making processes.
Stay current with advancements in AI machine learning and data science as applied to financial services and credit risk.
Develop maintain and enhance credit loss forecasting models with a primary focus on credit card loss curves including vintage analysis and roll-rate methodologies.
Provide analytical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of consumer and/or small business credit card products and risk dynamics
Proficiency in statistical techniques modeling and quantitative analysis
Knowledge of loss forecasting methods including vintage analysis roll-rate and time series approaches
Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks and their application to credit risk
Ability to work independently with data to identify complex business trends and propose solutions
Strong executive communication and data storytelling skills
Technical proficiency in SQL Python SAS and Excel BI tools for visualizations
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in quantitative fields such as Math Physics Statistics engineering Computer Science required. Advanced degree preferred
3 years of experience in Credit management or Credit Risk Forecasting or other highly analytical business field.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to present recommendations and influence senior management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment meet deadlines and work independently.
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $81662.00-$134741.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience education and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team youll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments supporting your productivity wherever you are.
